As a tennis player myself, I found it difficult too return to sport without having the facilities available to help me with my rehabilitation. As I was coming to the end of my degree, my goal was to open my own centre with a tennis court available to use at anytime. Through hard work and planning, I am opening Ace Therapy, which will specialise in tennis player's prevention of injury and rehabilitation. I have a fully equipped rehabilitation centre including, one hard tennis court with floodlights, a gym, spinning room, studio and clinical assessment rooms.
My business is very unique as I have a tennis court with floodlights that can be used all year round. As players move into the return to play part of the rehabilitation. I will allow the clients coaches to do sessions with them as I over look their sessions to help with the rehabilitation side of the practice and give any advise where needed. Through making this available, will be working different factors to help them play at their optimum level, for example: fitness, motor skills, strengthening the injured area, etc.
